REFUNDS AND EXCHANGE

At FLOATSYABOAT, we understand that sometimes, despite careful consideration, you may need to return or request a refund for your tent purchase. We are committed to making this process as transparent and straightforward as possible. Please review our refund policy below to understand your options and our procedures.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND:

  • You are eligible for a refund or return if you meet the following conditions:
  • Your tent is in unused, brand-new condition.
  • You return the tent within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • You provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
  • The tent does not have any damages, stains, or signs of wear and tear.
  • The tent must be in its original packaging with all accessories and tags included.
  • We do not provide a refund for the floating tents due to them being manufactured personally for you. Therefore, we do not refund for "change of mind".

REFUND PROCESS:

  • To initiate a refund or return, please follow these steps:
  • Contact our Customer Support team at Floatyaboatsaus@gmail.com or 0426922422 to inform them of your intent to return the tent.
  • Our Customer Support team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for returning the tent.
  • Pack the tent securely in its original packaging, including all accessories and tags.
  • Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  • Ship the package to the address provided by our Customer Support team using a trackable and insured shipping method. You are responsible for return shipping costs.

 INSPECTION AND PROCESSING:

  • Once we receive the returned tent, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria outlined in section 1.
  • If the products meets our return criteria, we will process your refund using the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Refunds may take 10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS:

  • Please note that the following items are non-refundable:
  • Used or damaged tents/products
  • Tents/ Products returned without a valid RMA number.
  • Tents/Products returned beyond the specified return period.
  • Tents/ Products not returned in their original packaging or missing accessories

5. WARRANTY CLAIMS:

We want you to be totally satisfied with our products and services. There may be times when you will need to return a product purchased from FLOATYABOAT. Our Returns Policy is designed to assist you with your return.

You are entitled to a replacement, credit or refund where item(s) are:

  • Faulty
  • Wrongly described
  • Different from a sample shown to you; or
  • Do not do what they are supposed to do

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you simply change your mind, don’t worry. Provided you return your product in its original as-new condition with tags, packaging and proof of purchase, we’ll gladly exchange it or provide a FLOATSYABOAT gift card.

EXCLUSIONS

In some cases, a refund, replacement, or repair may not be offered if you:

  • Substantially modify the product
  • Misuse the product contrary to user instructions or packaging labels

Certain products are excluded under our Returns Policy unless they are faulty, these include:

  • Tailor-made customer orders
  • Gift-cards, vouchers, and/or credit vouchers
  • Delivery fees and charges

HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO RETURN A PRODUCT?

Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time period and can vary from product to product depending on factors such as the nature of goods, price and statements made on packaging and product labels. Our Store Managers can assist you with further information about the warranty period for the product you return.
